Malachite
Malachite does not need faceting to attract attention. Its natural bands, rings and waves move through shades of light and dark green, making every bead or cabochon visibly different.
In modern crystal traditions, malachite symbolizes transformation, courage and the willingness to leave behind patterns that no longer serve a purpose. It is also associated with establishing clearer personal boundaries. These ideas are symbolic prompts, not therapeutic effects.
Malachite is softer and more chemically sensitive than many common jewelry stones. Avoid acids, abrasive cleaners, prolonged water exposure and ultrasonic cleaning. Genuine malachite’s irregular patterns are part of its appeal; unusually identical beads may indicate a simulated or reconstructed material, so review product disclosures carefully.
