Cinnabar
Cinnabar red is strongly associated with Chinese decorative art, particularly carved lacquer objects built from repeated layers and cut into intricate floral, landscape or symbolic patterns.
The name requires careful material disclosure. Natural cinnabar is mercury sulfide and should not be treated like an ordinary wearable gemstone. Many modern products sold as “cinnabar jewelry” are actually carved lacquer, resin, polymer or composite material made in the traditional red style.
Nimara Ritual should identify the composition provided by the supplier and avoid claims that cinnabar removes toxins, improves circulation or produces health benefits. Do not sand, grind, heat or intentionally damage these products. Damaged pieces and items of uncertain composition should be kept away from children and pets.
